FatRx presents published public-health statistics, summaries of published research and an equation-based calculator for general educational purposes. Accuracy and sources

Figures are transcribed from the primary sources linked next to them. We work to keep them accurate, but sources can be revised and errors can occur. If you find an error, please tell us as described in the Corrections Policy.

The Metabolic Scanner returns an estimate calculated from a published equation. It is not a measurement and may differ from your actual energy expenditure. The calculation runs in your browser; see the Privacy Policy.
